Setup
Tournament Setup Instructions
Global Admin: Select a Tenant first, then proceed with the steps below.
1) Select an existing Tournament or create a new one.
2) Enter the tournament name, start date, end date (multi-day), venue, and location details.
3) Choose which ring this laptop controls. Then set Sport Poomsae, Rec Poomsae, and Rec Sparring.
4) Click Save Setup to save.
5) Click Exit Setup to proceed to Matches, Competitors, and Scoreboard control.

Competitor Import Instructions
1) Download the Excel template with valid category and division values.
2) Fill in your participants (one per row). Required: First name, Last name, Gender (M/F), Date of Birth, Category, Division, Country.
3) Select Tenant and Tournament, then import your Excel or CSV file.
4) Review the preview for any errors or warnings before importing.
Note: Import is idempotent - safe to re-run without creating duplicates.

Important
After saving, you must click Exit Setup to reach the operational views. Staying in Setup keeps you locked to the configuration screen.

When checked, unverified membership will flag entries and block bracket generation.
When checked, coach entries require admin verification before clearing to Registered.

INSTRUCTIONS
Configure the base URLs for your scoreboards. URLs will auto-generate when you select a tournament and ring. Scoreboards will auto-open when you save setup.

Participant Import
INSTRUCTIONS
- Download a template (Master recommended for multi-event tournaments).
- Fill in your participants. Required: First name, Last name, Gender (M/F), Date of Birth, Country.
- Select Tenant and Tournament in Setup, then import your Excel or CSV file.
- The system auto-detects which template format you used.
Note: You can safely run the import again. It will not create duplicate participants.

One row per competitor, multi-event columns (Poomsae, Sparring, Breaking, etc.)

Sport Poomsae Per-Division Formats
INSTRUCTIONS
Set a format override for each Sport Poomsae division after athletes are imported. Rec Poomsae defaults are on the Setup page. Freestyle stays locked to Cutoff.
Sport Poomsae Competition Format
Populated from imported entries. Recognized Poomsae defaults to the tournament format. Freestyle defaults to Cutoff (locked).
Click Refresh to load divisions from entries.
Event Types And Categories
Choose which sports appear on the public registration form. If none are checked, all event types appear. Save Setup on the main page to apply. Rec Poomsae and Rec Sparring do not use the Sport category lists below.

Registration Categories (Sport Events)
Choose which categories appear on the athlete form for Sport Poomsae and Sport Sparring. Unchecked items stay in Ring Control for brackets and scoring. They are only hidden on the public form. If a tournament has never saved this list, the form uses the 5 Sport Poomsae and 6 Sport Sparring defaults.
